Sam Shudarek Obituary-Death News; 24, Beloved Son And Friend, Passes Away in Marquette, MI

Sam Shudarek, a 24-year-old resident of Marquette, Michigan, tragically passed away on April 7, 2025. Sam was a cherished son, brother, and friend, leaving behind a lasting impact on all who knew him.

He is survived by his parents, Todd Shudarek of West Bend, Wisconsin, and Bonnie Shudarek of Iron River, Michigan. His family also includes his sister, Stephanie Shudarek Mayhew, and her husband, Nicolas Mayhew, as well as his stepbrother, Bradley Walsh.

Sam’s passing has left his loved ones in deep sorrow. His friends and family remember him fondly for his vibrant personality and unwavering support. One close friend, Abrianna from Neenah, Wisconsin, shared, “Sam had the kind of energy that could light up any room, and his presence will be greatly missed.”

Visitation services for Sam will be held on May 4, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Canale Tonella Funeral Home in Marquette, MI, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM.

In memory of Sam, his family has requested donations be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) or The Trevor Project to support mental health awareness and suicide prevention.
